How to get to Desert Camp Chraika

Getting to Desert Camp Chraika by rental car

If you’re planning a road trip, driving to Desert Camp Chraika is a great option. Morocco has well-maintained roads, and the camp is easily reachable by a regular car. There are plenty of car rental options in Morocco. You can safely park your vehicle at our camp for the duration of your stay.

Traveling to M’hamid by bus

If you prefer public transport, buses are a comfortable and affordable option. You can book tickets online through CTM (ctm.ma) or Supratours (supratours.ma), with tickets available up to a month in advance. Buses are air-conditioned, have seat allocations, and make stops for meals. CTM operates a direct bus route from Marrakech to M’hamid, with stops in Ouarzazate, Agdz, and Zagora.

Traveling by grand taxis in Morocco

For a faster alternative, consider taking a grand taxi, a shared taxi service common in Morocco. Grand taxis can carry up to six passengers and depart from designated taxi stands, known as ‘mahata’. You can take a grand taxi from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, and then transfer to another taxi for Agdz, Zagora, and finally M’hamid. Although there’s no fixed schedule, grand taxis often save time compared to buses.
